Position Objectives and Responsibility
Main Position Objective:
The Business Development Executives will be based in Aberdeen, UK or Houston, USA and be responsible for selling Biznet’s Performance Management Systems to Oil and Gas companies in the USA, Europe and the North Sea with a focus on developing new opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients in the area.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Selling Biznet’s Performance Management Systems to Oil and Gas companies in USA, Europe and the North Sea with a focus on developing new opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients in the area.
• Gain an in-depth understanding of the business and organisational dynamics, challenges and opportunities within the customer base in order to shape an appropriate market approach and to proactively make propositions.
• Manage senior and middle level relationships in the customer base in order to maximise Biznet’s market position and profile, as well as to identify and develop new sales.
• Determine and sell a set of specific solutions that incorporate Consultancy, Biznet’s core Performance Management Systems products & services, ICT and Managed Services.
• Identify and drive business growth opportunities in customer accounts.
• Identify and influence other suppliers to the client base.
• Support the retention of existing revenues.
• Develop strategic customer engagement plans to deepen and broaden Biznet’s customer relationships.
• Execute the strategy to meet short and medium-term sales targets.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities and deliver new business.
• Identify key strategic ICT partners relevant to the market in order to develop new propositions.
• Manage and monitor own opportunities in the sales pipeline.
• Contribute to the overall company strategy.
• Provide constructive feedback to Biznet’s product and business development functions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Biznet seeks a dedicated professional with a proven track record in new business development (including target delivery) and an ability to demonstrate the commercial acumen to work and succeed in a fast growing environment.
• B.A / B.S in Business or related field.
• A minimum of five years relevant sales experience
• Experience in selling software systems to Oil and Gas companies would be a distinct advantage.
• An understanding of the key benefits that Supplier Relationship Management focus can bring.
• Knowledge and understanding of the complexity that Oil & Gas companies face in their global supply chain.
• An understanding of the technology available to companies seeking to exploit their Supply Chain
• Knowledge of the American, European and North Sea marketplace is also advantageous.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Proven, successful sales track record
The Candidate should also possess the following:
• Must be detail oriented, good problem solving skills and work well in a team environment.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Must be willing to learn new technologies, be resourceful to solve complex challenges and work well under pressure.
• Client facing communication skills.
